I’m Kritika, and here’s a little bit about my journey and how Bliss Boho came to life.
I was born in Kutch, Gujarat, a region known for its rich culture and vibrant handicrafts. Growing up, my home was filled with handcrafted treasures—beautiful textiles, accessories, and decor that my mother and elders adorned with pride. I’ve always been fascinated by the art of handmade pieces and the stories they carry. Those early memories instilled in me a deep love for handcrafted accessories and the artisans who pour their heart into each creation.
After graduating with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, I moved abroad, eventually settling in the Gulf, where I’ve lived for the past 12 years, 9 of those in Dubai. Life in the city and my career in hospitality shifted my style toward modern, fast fashion trends. It wasn’t until I became a mother in 2021 that everything changed. Taking a break to stay at home with my daughter gave me time to reflect. I realized how disconnected I had become from the things I once loved—the authenticity and craftsmanship of handmade items.
Each piece I curate at Bliss Boho reflects the vibrant spirit of artisans, their handwork, and the stories they tell. Every product is ethically sourced directly from these artisans, made with love and care. While we began with fashion accessories, Bliss Boho is soon expanding to include handcrafted home decor items, adding even more beauty and uniqueness to your living spaces. We’re also launching new pieces, so stay tuned!
Bliss Boho is now six months old, and after curating over 100 unique products and growing a tribe of 500 followers, I couldn’t be more grateful for how far we’ve come. It’s more than just a business—it’s a celebration of individuality, craftsmanship, and appreciating the small, meaningful things in life.
And this is my little one, in the image, sending her love while wearing her vibrant, handcrafted lehenga. She’s already starting to appreciate the charm of artisanal fashion.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
